In particular, I extend my thanks to my colleague in the FIE Executive Committee Mr. Arno Périllier Schneider, President of the CBE, for his leadership and tireless efforts in bringing this vision to life.

We also recognize the vital support of the Brazilian Ministry of Sport and the Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB), whose collective commitment to the Olympic movement provides the perfect foundation for a competition of this magnitude, further cementing Rio’s legacy as a premier destination for world-class athletics.
