Be part of one of the most electrifying and prestigious gatherings in the global fencing scene!
It is a profound honor to invite the global fencing family to the magnificent city of Rio de Janeiro for the 2026 Junior and Cadet Fencing World Championships. This event marks a historic milestone as we bring the premier showcase of our youth talent to Brazil, a nation with a legendary sporting heritage and a vibrant future.
I wish to express my deepest gratitude to the Brazilian Fencing Confederation (CBE) for their exceptional dedication and hospitality. In particular, I extend my thanks to my colleague in the FIE Executive Committee Mr. Arno Périllier Schneider, President of the CBE, for his leadership and tireless efforts in bringing this vision to life.
We also recognize the vital support of the Brazilian Ministry of Sport and the Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB), whose collective commitment to the Olympic movement provides the perfect foundation for a competition of this magnitude, further cementing Rio’s legacy as a premier destination for world-class athletics.
